Who should attend the Western Canada Emergency Services Leadership Seminar?
The Emergency Services Leadership Seminar is designed for all levels of emergency services personnel from all emergency services disciplines. We welcome all levels of personnel as we believe everyone can show leadership regardless of the responsibillities they have in their organization. Leadership is especially important in the challenging and stressful situations that first responders routinely face. RCMP, police, paramedics, firefighters and nurses should attend, among other first responders, to learn about leadership. We welcome the opportunity to empower all members of emergency service organizations with inspirational messages offering practical leadership solutions and tips!
When does the early bird pricing expire?
The early bird price is available until September 15, 2017.
Can I sign up for just one day of the seminar?
Yes. New for 2017 is the opportunity to choose which day you would like to register to attend! When registering through our online registration system, simply choose the day you would like to attend and the total price will be adjusted accordingly.
Where is the seminar held?
The seminar is held in Leduc, Alberta at the Executive Royal Inn. The hotel is located three minutes from the Edmonton International Airport and a short drive from downtown Edmonton. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport.
Is there a discounted rate available for hotel rooms?
The hotel has set aside a block of guest rooms for seminar attendees. When booking please ensure you advise them you will be attending the Western Canada Emergency Services Leadership Seminar.
Is lunch included for the seminar?
We are happy to provide a delicious hot buffet lunch both days of the seminar, along with morning and afternoon refreshments, including coffee, tea, a selection of other drinks and small bakery items.
